Enhanced Planmeca ProFace® photos

Planmeca Viso introduces a new way to capture Planmeca ProFace® face photos. The sensor of the device is equipped with four built-in cameras and LED beams for capturing highly detailed 3D images. They can be combined with model scan data to enhance data for 3D treatment planning.

The most modern endodontic imaging

Due to the high resolution required when capturing fine details, digital noise is often an inherent feature of endodontic imaging. Our new 3D endodontic imaging mode for Planmeca Viso™ solves this problem and delivers crisp, smooth CBCT images ideal for endodontics. The new shooting mode is not only available in devices from new shipments, but can also be added to existing devices through software updates.

Impressive visualization

Planmeca Viso offers a wide range of examination volumes to meet any diagnostic challenge, from a single tooth image to a complete skull examination. The machine's 3D sensor can also perform 2D imaging.

Motion Artifact Correction

Planmeca CALM™'s intelligent motion artifact correction algorithm is excellent for imaging patients who cannot remain completely still. It eliminates the need for retakes by removing the effects of patient movement.

FOV virtual positioning video display

Thanks to the real-time video display of the patient using the built-in video cameras, patient positioning is performed directly from the CBCT control panel of the device. Video feed of the patient to the control panel allows for more flexible and precise positioning of the FOV. The size of the study area can also be freely adjusted.

Reasoned sustentation of a patient

The occipital support of the patient's head provides stability without sacrificing patient comfort. The new support does not cover the patient's ears in 3D facial photography and can also be used without a chin rest thanks to the Planmeca CALM motion artifact correction algorithm.

Shooting at a low dose of radiation

All of our CBCT devices offer the unique Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ imaging protocol. It allows clinicians to acquire 3D images at a lower effective patient radiation dose and without compromising image quality.
